Update from Jordan Dube - 4/25/09

The day went well, with my oddly looking kart which I wrecked the day before, but that
didn't matter. I Quickly got my line adjusted for that track. Qualifying, I got a 10.0 lap time
and I got the outside pole. The start of the feature was a nightmare.. I quickly dropped far
behind the leader, Jim Hayden. after a while I got my rhythm back, and I was gaining on him.
We got the 5 to go sign and I know the pressure was on. going into 2 laps to go, the 21 gives me a
tap. I KNOW he's there, lost my rhythm, and got passed with 1 to go. during the pass, I got
pushed into the grass. I was done.

P.S. CONGRATS TO JIMMY HAYDEN FOR SUCH A GOOD RACE!

Practice went well for us. by far the fastest kart on the track again, and at the end of our second
practice, it was time for out Make-up race for May 9th...

We were started in 4th place, I followed Chris Howard to the start, I quickly got shuffled to the
back.. my kart was set up just right so I was able to move up all the way to second. the Circle 2
of Ryan Hammar was in The lead. I drafted him until about 4 to go. I gave him a tap from
behind to tell him I was there, which will make him make a mistake, I quickly cut under him.
I led the rest of the race, and quickly got my second win of the 2009 racing year!

May 16th Regular race...

I started on the pole for the race. and I quickly got a huge lead. About halfway through the race,
I got to lap traffic. I quickly sorted through about half the field when we reached the 5 lap to go
sign. I then got just about out of the traffic when two karts spun out in front of me. I quickly
dodged the one close to the wall, but when I turned down to avoid the first kart, I SLAMMED into
the other going full throttle. I TOTALED the kart. But with lots of help from all of our friends at
the track, we got it together an ran the next day.

May 9th was a rainout.

We ran amazing all day, by far the fastest kart out on the track. We were getting ready to start
our heat race when the wind suddenly changed direction, a HUGE black cloud came over us..
My dad instantly turned the kart around and headed to the trailer. We just barely got the kart into the
trailer when we got hit with a HUGE rain storm came...

Update from Jordan Dube - 4/25/09

We ran Great all day in practice, turning our fastest times so far.

We went out for our Heat and started on the pole.  I led most of the race until about eight to
go.  Right after I lost the lead, there was a caution.  Single file start, the kid in front tapped the back of his
helmet signaling a draft. We drafted until the last lap when I attempted a pass. unsuccessful..
I finished 2nd in the Heat race and the 42 got the poll.

The feature was a nightmare, cautions EVERYWHERE!!  I ran good for the entire race.  The 42, 03
and I were the class of the field.  At the beginning of the race I got freight trained by the 03 of Jared
Bouchard.  Ran right with him until the last lap when I tried it on the outside.  The circle two of Ryan
Hammar snuck underneath me and sent me to the marbles.  Coming out of 4 going to the checkered
I plowed it into the wall.  THANK GOODNESS FOR SOFT-WALL TECHNOLOGY! Finished 9th.
