2009 will be Ed Getty’s 10th year of Legend racing competition in the Northeast series.
He has competed both in the NELCAR tour events and Beech Ridge Speedway Thursday Thunder series all 10 years.
Ed’s racing history features his highest year-end finish, 2nd place in the tour in 2004, and 3rd place in the Thursday Thunder series in 2008.
Ed’s feature victories total five.
He races two cars, a 1934 Ford Sedan, Henry, the primary car; and a ’37 Chevy Sedan, Missy, as a back-up car.
Ed is the owner/driver, and appreciates his crew chief, Karen, who has contributed to several of his feature wins and provides track assistance to NELCAR operations each week.
